Mission:

Office of the Chief, Army Reserve (OCAR) Strategic Equipping Division (SED) Senior Analyst requirement is to support the Army Reserves Strategic Equipping requirement by tracking equipment from programming to budgeting to procurement to delivery and receipt at unit level.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assorted Army Reserve Studies and Research Support with a focus on equipping and resourcing as directed
  • Apply multiple web based tools and databases in support of the force development processes, including AE2S, FDIIS, PPB BOS, SLAMIS, EQUIPFOR, FMS, WEBLIDB, and FMSWeb
  • Analyze data, develop position papers, and provide recommendations to Army leaders on Army material programs
  • Analyze DOTMLPF-P impacts on equipment, requirements document, and make recommendations for changing resource levels identified in documents like Congressional Marks.
  • Develop congressional budget justification in support of their assigned programs.
  • Brief senior leaders to include two and three star generals, and Senior Executive Service (SES)

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Management, Economics, Math, Science, Engineering History or English
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience and expertise in Force Development to include experience at most senior levels of the Army such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands.
  • Requirements Development, Materiel Development, and Database and Collaborative Program Support required.
  • Experience with Force Structure (FS), Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), equipping and fielding systems/databases to include but not limited to:Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S), SLAMIS, Force And Asset Search Tool (FAAST), Force Development Investment Information System (FDIIS), Planning, Programming & Budgeting Business Operating System (PPB BOS), Equipping the Force (EQUIPFOR), Force Management System (FMS), Force Structure Reporting (FSR), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW/Web Logistics Information Database (WEBLIDB), Planning, Programming & Budgeting Business Operating System (eProbe).
