 Supports, as needed, US Army Space and Missile Defense Command Capability Development Integration Directorate (CDID) government personnel for efforts associated with innovations for Space, Near Space, Space Control, Missile Defense Capabilities and information operations to the Warfighter.  This work will occur inside of a SCIF and the ideal candidate will support by serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking basic technical assistance.  The work performed shall include:

  •  Answer incoming calls or email requests
  • Log tickets and service requests
  • Review incoming tickets and service requests
  • Research and provide resolution to user problems
  • Escalate tickets and requests to appropriate personnel
  • Monitor and report on service desk performance
  • This effort will require the candidate to troubleshoot and provide service in an IT infrastructure to include Virtual Servers, Virtual Desktops (VDI), Physical Servers and Workstations, SAN/NAS devices.


  • Must have Associates degree and 3+ years of experience. A degree with emphasis on Cyber Security or Computer Networks is a plus, as are computer environment certifications (VMWare, Linus, and Windows OS).
  • Must be able to obtain DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
  • Must attain DoD 8570 IAT level II certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience with desktop/network support, IT concepts, and help desk software.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Office and Anti-virus software and VMWare Products.
  • Customer service orientation with clear and effective communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret Security Clearance and be eligible for SCI
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information


  •  Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Basic understanding of Group Policy and Change Management best practices.
  • Security Principles to include Password Policy, Physical Security, Access Control and Risk Assessment and Mitigation.
  • Experience using Wireshark, tcpdump and Putty.
  • Understanding of IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP and basic subnetting principles.
