Mission:

Quantum Research is currently seeking an experienced candidate to serve as an Integrated Master Scheduler. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal, AL (Huntsville, AL). ideal candidate will provide program scheduler/scheduling support to an Army Aviation Acquisition Product Office in the form of creating, managing and evaluating product schedules across various APM Teams.  Support all A3S products, product teams and the A3S management staff to standardize all product schedules and program structure charts. 

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze activity plans, including budgets to develop integrated master schedules in order to meet contractual and project requirements for an assigned major portion of a program.
  • This scheduler with have to be proactive getting schedules from different Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Program/Product managers, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), in order to integrate into an overall integrated master schedule that can be used to synchronize and assess any issues or potential problems before required execution
  • Create, manage,define and establish numerous tiered program plan requirements/schedules and perform In-depth studies to determine optimum program plans and critical paths
  • Coordinate development of program and project level schedules, and develop in depth Work-Breakdown Schedules (WBS). Interface with customers and perform extensive investigations to build schedule details, as required. Analyze products and solicit required data/information to resolve schedule issues and brief to government leads the issues and corrective actions recommended
  • Monitor and report performance against plans and schedules to ensure that program cost, and schedule objectives are met
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study, certification in MS Project or MIS/CIS field a plus
  • 6 plus years of experience with MS Project scheduling (resource loaded, integrated task complex schedules)
  • Seasoned Experience using Microsoft Project and producing product schedules
  • Above average knowledge with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • General knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Life Cycle
  • Ability to interface with clients on program / project management issues
  • Ability to support project review meetings by preparing and presenting schedule statuses
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must analyze schedule and issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
