Mission/Responsibilities:

  • Create and update security plans, procedures, and instructions along with ensuring compliance and maintain a working relationship with government agencies to include:DoDM 5220.22-M National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and DoDM 5205.07 DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual and DoDM5105.21 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Manage all DoD and Program audits and ensure compliance with the NISPOM, DoD and customer requirements. Ensure all corrective actions are implemented. Develops and administers security procedures and programs for classified or proprietary materials and documents. Conduct periodic classified document inventories and security self-inspections on local processes and practices.
  • Perform administrative duties as required, including personnel training and periodic reports required by Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), personnel incident reports, Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (EQIP) data entry for clearances.
  • Manage Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment / accounts and Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) Portal along with the others
  • Responsible for creating a secure environment for employees, vendors, and company visitors.
  • Perform access control responsibilities including managing badges, access cards and visit requests.
  • Other duties as assigned as it relates to Corporate Facility Security and business needs such as: security audits, training staff latest security awareness/threats and work with all Quantum sites

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in equivalent area of study from an accredited college/university; Note: May substitute experience in lieu of degree with 8 years plus proven experience as FSO
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience FSO functions, preferred 10 years and above
  • 5 years of direct experience with NISPOM and DoDM 5205.07 preferred.
  • Current Security Clearance required (Top Secret)
  • DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce (CompTIA Security+ CE or CISSP certification) a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office software and industry standard government software as required
  • Must be a person of integrity with a high level of proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate and build rapport with all levels of the company and customers
