Mission: Quantum is seeking Cyber Forensic Analysts to work as a member of their Cyber Assessment Team.



Serve as a member of the Quantum Cyber Operations team with a focus on Forensic Examinations, you will inventory, examine, retrieve and perform comprehensive technical analyses of digital evidence without altering the original.


Perform forensically sound analysis on common operating system environments, to include, MS Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and UNIX and embedded devices.


Analyze digital media (logs, code, hard drives, memory dumps, etc.) to determine attack methods, threats and develop mitigation techniques.


Use forensic tools and investigative methods to identify electronic data associated with cyber incidents to include; Internet use history, documents, images and other files that have been hidden, deleted or lost, malware identification, memory or RAM artifacts, event timelines, and identification of initial intrusion vectors.


Ideal candidates will have a firm understanding of cyber threats, common attacker TTP's, and observables with experience in malware analysis techniques.


You may be required to provide supplemental testimony in court about the procedures and methods used to obtain data, and to prepare and furnish authoritative oral and written reports.


Perform other duties as assigned.



Proficiency in the current digital forensics and malware analysis techniques as well as a passion for the field and desire to stay current in the latest tools and analysis techniques.


Proven ability to research, analyze and make recommendations on complex and multifaceted problems.


Ability to speak effectively before groups of internal and customer personnel


Technical Degree desired, but years of experience and certifications/training may be accepted in lieu of Degree (e.g. CCE, GSFE, GCFA, GREM, GNFA, or GCIH)


Familiarity with multiple of the following tools/techniques: X-Ways, Axiom, EnCase, Autopsy, Volatility, SANS SIFT, REMnux, intrusion cases, APT analysis, triage techniques, Windows registry, device acquisition, event timelines, artifact analysis, IOC creation/identification
