Mission:

Joint Requirements & Assessment Senior Analyst requirement is to produce analysis and decision support products to underpin critical decisions by leaders and managers at all levels of the Department of the Army.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide methods, plans and policy recommendations based on studies and analyses regarding the areas of development of warfighting capability requirements, force modernization, rapid acquisition/rapid equipping, Army studies and analyses, Army experimentation, test and evaluation, and science and technology.
  • Provide assessments on the results of the implementation of changes to those methods and policies.
  • Provide analysis, reviews, and recommendations regarding the establishment of Army policies and procedures concerning the development of Army requirements and Army warfighting to include: Army implementation of CJCSI 3170.01 JCIDS through AR 71-9 Army Materiel Requirements the AROC process.
  • Identify data sources, extract and analyze data, and develop initial draft assessments on the results of the implementation of changes to the methods and policies listed above.
  • Develop trade-off analyses to identify alternative advantages and disadvantages for each recommended course of action.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Management, Economics, Math, Science, Engineering History or English
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience and expertise in Force Development to include experience at most senior levels of the Army such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands.
  • Requirements Development, Materiel Development, and Database and Collaborative Program Support required;
  • Experience in Capability Integration, Prioritization and Analysis; Army implementation of CJCSI 3170.01 JCIDS through AR 71-9 Army Materiel Requirements the AROC process; and analysis and recommendations to DOM Hardware Divisions in support of Strategic Planning Assessment Reviews (SPAR).

 

A current minimum of SECRET security clearance is required for this position.  Employee must maintain a minimum of a SECRET security clearance at all times.
